A lifelong Lake County resident, Julie grew up attending Mentor Public Schools and earned her degree in Business and Economics from Lake Erie College, right here in our community.
A Note From Julie
Dear Neighbor,
Our communities face unique challenges that require trusted, experienced leadership. Being a mother and a teacher taught me patience and compassion. Combining those experiences with being a business owner taught me how to take action and tackle hard challenges. I put those skills to work through my service on Willoughby Hills City Council, Finance Committee, and my involvement with several local non-profits.
I am running for State Representative because we need fresh new perspective in Columbus. I hear your concerns because I live them every day as a local elected official, small business owner, and mom. That's why as your State Representative, I will address:
Strong Schools: A good education is the foundation for a lifetime of opportunities for our kids. We must put kids first and ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.
Safe Communities: Cutting safety and protective services is not an option; we must give first responders the tools they need to protect our community, especially for kids and seniors, our most vulnerable populations.
Affordability: This means driving more business and jobs to Northeast Ohio to create more opportunities to thrive. It also means lowering costs and reigning in our tax bills.
Serving Our Communities
The 23rd District covers the cities of Eastlake, Mentor-on-the-Lake, Richmond Heights, Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, Willowick, and part of Mentor, along with the villages of Gates Mills, Lakeline, Mayfield, and Timberlake. Julie is committed to fighting for every one of these communities in Columbus.
